The Wade’s Warriors Memorial Fund was created to honor the life of Wade Maller, the oldest of Mark and Heidi Maller’s three sons. During his short life, Wade left an enduring impression on the lives of those he touched. Taken by cancer at the age of 22, Wade’s life was a testament to his compassion for people in need and his love for all dogs, especially his dog Loki who was a loyal companion providing constant comfort to Wade as he bravely met the challenges of his illness.

Donations made to the Wade’s Warriors Memorial Fund will support the cost of screening, training, and graduating veteran/service dog pairs in the Service Dogs for Veterans Program at Paws 4 Liberty. Each veteran/service dog pair costs the organization up to $15,000, and your contribution will help veterans with PTS benefit from the assistance and companionship of a service dog. Wade’s Warriors Memorial Fund is a fitting tribute to a young man who cared deeply for people in need and understood the unconditional love of a dog. With your support, we can ensure that Wade's legacy will touch an even greater number of lives.

“Loki was a very important part of Wade's life and helped him through many challenges. This is what drew us to Paws 4 Liberty.  Through the Wade’s Warriors Memorial Fund, our goal is to give back to the soldiers who served this country and who are now suffering. We want Wade's legacy to live on through the dogs and service men and woman who need his help."  – The Maller Family
